In order to receive the bundle, any and all of your accounts must be paid to current. The fees and charges begin to accrue on the start date of the bundle. You will be billed monthly, in advance, for service charges, and other recurring fees.
Suspension and Termination
In the event that an account is not paid in full by the due date shown on the monthly statement (paid in full each month), the customer will receive a notification of the past due amount and the final due date by which the account must be paid in full to continue service on the bundle. Failure to pay the bill in full by the final due date will result in termination of the bundle, and loss of service. If a customer is suspended or disconnected and subsequently pays their bill in full, they are again eligible for the bundles.
The bundle does not include certain call types. These call types will instead be charged on a per-call basis. These calls include but are not limited to: directory assistance, operator assistance, collect calls, 3rd party calls, international calls, and 900/976 calls. For billing purposes, a call begins when answered by the called party or an automated answering device (such as voice mail, answering machines or fax machines); it ends when one of the parties disconnects the call. Calls are billed in whole minutes, with partial minutes rounded up to the next whole minute.
You agree to pay any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, surcharges and fees (however designated) levied upon Empire in connection with the sale, installation, use, or provision of the Service.
Call records are not included in the bundle. If you would like to add this detail to your monthly statement, an additional $1.95 monthly fee will apply.
Empire retains the right at any time to add to, modify, or delete any aspect, feature or requirement of the bundle, including price. In accordance with any applicable law, Empire will notify customers of any significant change in the bundle. Upon any such change and notice, continued use of the service will constitute the customerís consent to the change. If the customer does not agree to any such change, he/she must immediately notify Empire to discontinue the bundle and revert to regular monthly non-bundled rates.
Use of the Telephone Service
This bundle and itsí associated pricing is available to residential customers on a per line basis. Adding the bundle to any additional telephone lines in the home is subject to an additional monthly fee and solely at the customerís discretion.
You expressly agree not to use the service for dial-up Internet service to a long distance number, auto-dialing, continuous or extensive call forwarding, telemarketing, fax broadcasting or fax blasting, or for any other use that results in excessive usage inconsistent with normal residential calling patterns may result in termination of the service or additional charges for each month in which excessive usage has occurred.
